Edrington sells majority stake in Wyoming Whiskey

Scottish spirits radical Edrington has offloaded its bulk holding successful US trade distiller Wyoming Whiskey.

The Macallan marque proprietor has sold its 80% involvement to WW Partners, an concern radical led by Wyoming Whiskey co-founder David DeFazio.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

DeFazio said: "Moving forward, Wyoming Whiskey volition re-commit to its roots and instrumentality to the civilization and constitution that made it the whiskey of the West and a staple of the Rocky Mountain whiskey category.
